Land for job scam: The difficulties of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family have increased once again. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued summons to Lalu Yadav and some of his families for allegations of money laundering in the job scam in exchange for land. Under this summons, Lalu Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi and son Tej Pratap Yadav have been called for questioning.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Tej Pratap Yadav and Rabri Devi for questioning on Tuesday (March 18) at the zonal office of Patna. Lalu Prasad Yadav has been asked to appear on Wednesday (March 19). Earlier, Lalu Yadav’s daughter and son had been granted bail in this case, while the court had allowed Lalu not to appear. Now it has to be seen whether they appear before the ED this time.

What is a job scam instead of land?

This case is between 2004 and 2009 when Lalu Prasad Yadav was the Railway Minister of the country. He is accused of writing land from many people instead of giving Group D jobs in Railways. In this case, a supplementary charge sheet was filed in the court last month, in which 11 people were made accused. Three of them have already died.

Lalu Yadav Tejashwi Yadav, Rabri Devi and Misa Bharti have had to appear in court several times in this case. Now after the inquiry of the ED, it will be decided in which direction the investigation will move forward. If the agency is not satisfied with Lalu Yadav and his family’s answers, then further action may increase strictness.
