Land -water and now air … 9 sharp attacks on India in 9 days after the Pahalgam attack – India’s Major Decisions Against Pakistan After Pahalgam Terror Attack Ntcpan

Since the Pahalgam terror attack, India has been continuously taking tough decisions against Pakistan. The government has decided to shut down aircraft for Pakistani aircraft on Wednesday. But before this, in the last 9 days, India has taken many strict steps to knock out land, water and air, Pakistan on every front. On 22 April, 26 people were killed in a terrorist attack targeting tourists in Pahalgam.

Attari-Wagh border closed

On the very next day of the attack i.e. 23 April, a cabinet committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and five major decisions were taken against Pakistan in this meeting. India first closed the Attari border check post to drive Pakistani citizens out of their land so that no Pakistani citizen could enter the country despite being an Indian visa.

Order to leave the country of diplomats

Along with this, it was decided to close the Indian embassy in Pakistan in the CCS meeting. This was a major step taken to put diplomatic pressure. Also, all the Pakistani political people present in India were ordered to leave the country within 48 hours and a tough decision was taken not to give India’s visa to Pakistanis. After the attack, the government decided that no Pakistani citizen would be able to enter India.

SAARC visa restriction banned

Apart from this, the SAARC visa discount scheme given by India to Pakistan has also been stopped with immediate effect. Under this, now Pakistani citizens will not be allowed to come to India. The biggest decision that India had taken in this meeting was to suspend the Indus Water Agreement as India did not stop this 6 decade -old treaty even after the war of 1965, 1971 and 1999.

Indus Water Agreement Suspended

India made a ‘water strike’ over Pakistan with this decision, because Sindhu and its tributaries are considered to be the lifeline of Pakistan. Stopping this agreement meant that a lot of difficulty in front of Pakistan was coming. Pakistan’s 80 percent of the agricultural land, hydro power project and a population of 24 crores depends on the water of the Indus. In such a situation, this is the biggest step taken against Pakistan.

Reduced number of personnel in the High Commission

India has declared Persona Non Grata to the Defense, Navy and Air Force advisors of the Pakistani High Commission. They were also ordered to leave the country within a week after 23 April. Also, the number of employees in the High Commission of India and Pakistan will be reduced from 55 to 30. This change will be completed by May 1. The CCS has directed the security forces to be vigilant and said that the culprits of the attack will be punished.

‘Digital strike’ on Pakistan

After the attack, a digital strike on Pakistan has also been done by India. Under this, 16 Pakistani YouTube channels including Shoaib Akhtar, Arzu Kazmi and Syed Muzammil Shah have been banned in the country two days ago. Apart from this, many Pakistani X handles and sites have also been banned. The government has taken this step to stop any kind of propaganda against India. Not only this, the handle of some popular actor of Pakistan has also been banned.

Army got open exemption

PM Modi has also held an important meeting with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and head of the three armies. In this meeting, it has been said to give an open exemption to the army to deal with terrorism strictly. According to government sources, in the meeting, the Prime Minister said that it is our national resolve to give a shock to terrorism. The Prime Minister expressed full confidence and trust in the professional capabilities of the Indian Armed Forces. He said that the army is completely free to answer according to its own.

Army responding to firing

Pakistan is constantly breaking ceasefire on Loc and International Border. However, Indian brave is giving a befitting reply to Pakistan’s shelling. On the other hand, Pakistan has decided to remove the launch pads of terrorists close to the border due to fear. The neighboring country fears that India may do surgical or air strike as before.

Decision to shut down airspace

On Wednesday, a Cabinet Committee (CCPA) meeting was held under the chairmanship of PM Modi, in which another big step has been taken against Pakistan. The Government of India has decided to shut down its aircraft for Pakistan’s aircraft. India’s aircraft for Pakistan will remain closed from 30 April to 23 May, which will cause huge economic loss to the neighboring country.

India wants to bring Pakistan to the knees completely through these decisions. The government says that such steps will be taken till Pakistan does not take concrete action against terrorism. Apart from this, India has also informed the global community about the misdeeds of Pakistan. A meeting was held in the Ministry of External Affairs with the ambassadors of various countries in the country, in which the whole world has been informed about the Pahalgam attack.
