Large aircraft accident averted in Nepal, Emergency landing at Kathmandu Airport of Plane taking 12 Indians

A major aircraft accident was averted in Nepal on Wednesday. An aircraft carrying 12 Indian passengers was forced to make an emergency landing at Kathmandu Airport due to technical fault.

Hydraulic system malfunction

An airline officer said that this private plane of ‘Sita Air’ was going to Ramechap located in the southeast of 140 km southeast from Kathmandu from Lukla, called Gateway in Mount Everest.

The aircraft immediately turned to Tribhuvan International Airport after a malfunction in the hydraulic system during the flight. A total of 17 people were riding in the aircraft, including 12 Indian citizens, 2 Nepali passengers and 3 crew members.

Aircraft drawn with the help of a tractor

An airline official said that after a safe landing of the aircraft, he was taken to the parking lot with the help of a tractor. The call sign of the aircraft was 9N-IE and a decline in hydraulic pressure was recorded. Thankfully, all passengers and crew members are completely safe.
