Former Chief Secretary and Senior IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Shambhu Nath died during the book release program on Saturday evening. He attended the program organized at the Hindi Institute as the chief guest.
During the address from the stage, his health suddenly deteriorated and he fell on the stage. The doctors investigated and said that they died due to heart rate.
While the thunder of applause was echoing earlier in the program, suddenly this incident caused panic. The audience and organizers were shocked and the atmosphere of the program turned into a condolence meeting.
Please tell that the administrative career of Dr. Shambhu Nath was very proud. He was the Principal Secretary during Rajnath Singh’s Chief Minister’s tenure. Dr. Shambhunath, who has a keen interest in literature, was also the President of Uttar Pradesh Hindi Institute. His untimely farewell is irreparable loss to both literature and administration.
