Former Jharkhand CM Shibu Soren will be cremated today i.e. on Tuesday in his native village Nemra (Ramgarh). His younger son Basant Soren will offer him the fire.

Earlier, the body will be kept for the last darshan in the party office. After this, the assembly will be taken from there. Congress President Mallika Arjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi will also attend the funeral.

Shibu Soren breathed his last at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi at 8:56 am on Monday morning. Chief Minister Hemant Soren X wrote- ‘Dishom Guru has left all of us. Today I am zero. ‘

President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the hospital on Monday and paid tribute to him.

After reaching Gangaram Hospital in Delhi, President Draupadi Murmu paid tribute to Shibu Soren.

Was hospitalized on 19 June

81 -year -old Shibu Soren was suffering from heart disease, kidney and lung disease. He was admitted to the hospital on 19 June. He also suffered a brain stroke and paralysis attack during treatment. He was on ventilator.

His body was brought to Ranchi on Monday evening. This was then taken from the airport to his residence in Morhabadi, where supporters as well as opposition leaders had their last darshan.

3 days state mourning in Jharkhand

On his death, the Jharkhand government has announced a 3 -day state mourning from Monday. The national flag is half tilted. There will be no government event for 3 days. A holiday has been declared in all government offices on Monday and Tuesday.

The monsoon session of the assembly has also been adjourned indefinitely. Shibu Soren has played an important role in the formation of Jharkhand, who was the CM three times, Union Minister and eight times MP.

For the first time when CM became, government fell in 10 days

Shibu Soren became the CM of Jharkhand for the first time on 2 March 2005, but he had to resign in ten days due to not being able to prove the majority.

On 27 August 2008, Shibu Soren became the CM of Jharkhand for the second time. This time he was not an MLA. For this reason, he was to win the election in six months and become a member of the assembly.

Five months later the by -election was held in 2009. Shibu needed a safe seat, but no one was willing to leave the seat for him. The MLAs who were ready to leave the seat were a difficult seat.

The by -election was announced in the Tamar Assembly. The UPA named Shibu on behalf of the alliance, but Shibu did not want to contest from there.

Shibu knew that Tamar was shaved. Shibu can find it difficult there. Shibu Soren filed the form in compulsion. Raja Peter of Jharkhand Party was in the fray as the opponent.

When the result came on 8 January 2009, CM Shibu Soren lost the by -election by around 9 thousand votes. Finally he had to resign.

Government ran only 10 months in 3 times tenure

During the three -time tenure, Shibu Soren got a chance to take charge of the state for 10 months for 10 months. Shibu Soren became the Chief Minister for only 10 days for the first time.

After this, Shibu Soren became the Chief Minister of Jharkhand on 28 August 2008 for the second time. This time he got a chance to sit on the Chief Minister’s chair for five months. He resigned as Chief Minister on 18 January 2009.

Then on 30 December 2009 for the third time, Shibu Soren became the Chief Minister of Jharkhand. This time his term was only five months. He resigned from the post of Chief Minister on 31 May 2009.
