Lathmar Holi’s colorful starts in Barsane, crowd of thousands of devotees

The festival of Holi in Barsane lasts for a month. Laddu Mara Holi and Lathmar Holi are the main attractions here. Laddus Holi is played in the Shri Ladli Ji temple located at the birthplace of Radha ji. The next day in Lathmar Holi, women kill men with sticks. This tradition is considered a symbol of Radha-Krishna’s love Leela.
