Earning starts with training
LIC’s Bima Sakhi scheme is special in many ways and its biggest benefit is that along with the training given to empower the women who join it, they also start earning money. Actually, under Bima Sakhi Yojana, they are given complete training to become LIC Agent. Along with this, they are also given Rs 5,000 to Rs 7000 every month. There is also a provision to give monthly allowance of Rs 7,000 in the first year, Rs 6,000 in the second year and Rs 5,000 in the third year to the women taking training under the scheme. The facility of giving commission based incentives has also been given to women who achieve their targets.
3 years training is available under the scheme
As the name suggests, LIC’s Bima Sakhi scheme has been specially designed for women, which is a stipend based scheme. The women who join this are given training to become LIC agents for three years and from the very beginning, they are given a stipend after targeting some policies. To join this scheme, the age limit has been kept at 18 to 70 years and the minimum qualification is 10th pass. But some conditions have also been imposed.
