Like last year, this time there is confusion about Diwali. There is a difference of dates in different almanacs. In some, Diwali is stated on 20 October, while some in October 21.
,
The scholars of Ujjain believe that the Amavasya of Pradosh Kaal will remain till the night of 20 October, so Diwali should be celebrated on October 20 itself.
This time Amavasya Tithi will start from 20 October afternoon and will be till October 21 after 3:35 October. According to astrologers, if Amavasya remains for at least 24 minutes after sunset, then the festival is valid during Pradosh Kaal. There will be no Pradosh on 21 October, while Pradosh will remain on 20 October. This is the reason that celebrating the festival of Diwali on October 20 is said to be appropriate.
Roop Chaudas till 3:45 pm, followed by Amavasya
Jyotishacharya Pandit Amar Dibbewala of Ujjain said that the festival of Diwali is celebrated on the new moon day of Kartik Paksha. Mahalakshmi’s appearance is considered to be of Pradosh Kaal, so it is appropriate to celebrate the festival of Diwali on the new moon day of Pradosh period.
In Indian astrology, two concepts of almanac are described. Planet Laghav and planet Chaitra. The Chaitra method is related to vision mathematics, while the planet Laghav is based on subtle mathematics. This is why differences are seen among scholars. According to the almanacs, the mathematics of the date and day is fixed. This time the date coming in Pradosh period is only on October 20, so it is considered best to celebrate Diwali on the same day.
According to astrologers, this time Amavasya Tithi will start from 3:45 pm on October 20 and will remain till 21 October afternoon.
Mata Lakshmi will go on a tour on 20 October
Jyotishacharya Akshay Vyas told that on the day of Chaturdashi, i.e. on the evening of 20 October, there will be Diwali festival. There is a difference of about an hour in different cities during sunrise and sunset time, so Diwali should be decided by asking local almanac and astrologers.
There are two opinions in this subject in theology, one is Purushartha Chintamani and the other religion is Indus. According to Dharma Indus, if Diwali is of Pradosh touch for two days, then the first reception should be followed for Lakshmi Pujan. Purushartha Chintamani is of the opinion that if there are two days Amavasya and also a watch (24 minutes) the next day, then Diwali should be celebrated the next day. Both opinions are prevalent. Due to the visit of Goddess Lakshmi at night, it is appropriate to celebrate Diwali festival on the night of Amavasya i.e. 20 October.
So two days date
Jyotishacharya Akshay Vyas said that the value of the date is not fixed. The date of date can usually range from 55 ghatis to 65 ghatis. There are four types of the year mentioned in theology. Lunar year, Sawan Year, Solar Year and Jupiter Year. The festivals are often celebrated according to the lunar year, in which one year is about 354 days. Due to the lack of value of the date of the lunar year, there is also a difference in the dates according to the geographical location of India.
There was a two -day doubt last year on Diwali festival
Jyotishacharya could not be unanimous on when to celebrate Deepawali last year. It was decided to celebrate Deepawali on 1 November in the meeting of astrology and scholars in Indore, while the astrologers of Ujjain had scripturally celebrated Diwali on 31 October itself.
Amavasya started after 4:03 pm on 31 October last year. On November 1, Amavasya was till 5:38 pm and sunset took place at 5:46 pm. Deepawali worship and traditional celebration takes place at night only. From this point of view, instead of November 1, there was Amavasya on 31 October, and the festival of Diwali was celebrated on this day.
