The team, who was being treated in an inhuman treatment of the elders in an institution called Anand Niketan Vriddhi Seva Ashram, was also surprised. The team of State Women’s Commission, Noida Police, Social Welfare Department and District Probation Department rescued 40 elders and the ashram has been sealed.
According to the information, this case is of Anand Niketan Vriddhi Seva Ashram located in Sector 55, Noida. A joint team of State Women’s Commission, Noida Police, Social Welfare Department and District Probation Department raided here. Shocking videos have surfaced from Old Age Home. When the team reached inside during the raid, an elderly woman was tied with clothes and locked in the room. At the same time, men were kept locks in dark rooms like basement. Many people did not even have clothes. During the raid, elderly women were found in a very pathetic condition.

According to the raiding team, a video of this old age home went viral, with pictures of an elderly woman tied and locked in the room. This video reached the Social Welfare Department Lucknow, after which orders were given for raids. It is being told that to keep the elderly in this institution, two and a half lakh rupees were charged as donation. Apart from this, 6 thousand rupees per month and food were recovered. When the team contacted the family, they tried to avoid the matter by saying everything normal.
It was also revealed in the raid that there was no trained staff in the organization to take care of the elderly. The elders were taking care of themselves. Many people were stained with dirt, due to which they had suffered serious diseases. During the raid, a woman found in the old age home described herself as a nurse, but when the team inquired, it was found that he is only 12th pass and there is no medical training.
On this matter, Noida Police said that on the basis of the complaint of the State Women’s Commission, a surprise inspection of Anand Niketan Vikas Ashram located in Sector 55 was done, in which many serious irregularities were found. The process of sealing the ashram has been started with the cooperation of the administration. All the elderly will be sent to a recognized government old age home. Now the Women’s Commission and Administration are jointly taking further action in this matter. Preparations are being made for strict action against the ashram management.
