The New Year (New Year 2025) has started and on the very first day a relief news has come. Actually, on January 1, 2025, oil and gas marketing companies have cut the price of LPG cylinder. Gas cylinder prices have been reduced by Rs 14-16 from Delhi to Mumbai. However, the companies have made this cut in the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder, whereas the prices of domestic LPG cylinder (14 kg) have remained stable even at the beginning of the new year, that is, there has been no change in them.

LPG cylinder became so cheap
New prices of 19 kg LPG cylinder have been released on 1 January 2025, the first day of the year. According to the updated price on the website of IOCL, the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder has now become Rs 1804 from January 1 in the capital Delhi (LPG Price In Delhi), which was Rs 1818.50 on December 1. That means the price of one cylinder has decreased by Rs 14.50. Its prices have changed not only in Delhi but also in other metros of the country.

This is the new rate in Mumbai-Kolkata
Apart from the capital Delhi, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder in Kolkata has now reduced from Rs 1927 to Rs 1911 from January 1. Here the price of one cylinder (LPG Cylinder Price In Kolkata) has been reduced by Rs 16. Along with this, the price of cylinder (Mumbai LPG Price) in Mumbai has also reduced by Rs 15 and the price of commercial cylinder which was available for Rs 1771 in December has come down to Rs 1756. If we talk about Chennai, then here a 19Kg Cylinder priced at Rs 1980.50 will now be available for Rs 1966 from January 1, 2025.

It became expensive on the first day of December
Earlier last month, on the first of December, there was a huge shock of inflation and the prices of 19 kg gas cylinder were increased. On December 1, the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder in the country’s capital Delhi has become Rs 1818.50, which was Rs 1802 in November. In Kolkata it went from Rs 1911.50 to Rs 1927, in Mumbai it went from Rs 1754.50 to Rs 1771 and in Chennai it went from Rs 1964.50 to Rs 1980.50.

Domestic LPG gas cylinder prices stable
For a long time, there has been a change in the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder (LPG Price Change), but there has been no change in the price of 14 kg domestic LPG cylinder. It is available at the price of August 1 only. Even on January 1, its prices have been kept constant and it is available for Rs 803 in Delhi. Apart from this, its price remains unchanged at Rs 829 in Kolkata, Rs 802.50 in Mumbai and Rs 818.50 in Chennai.
