A youth committed suicide in BKT police station area of Lucknow. He was hurt by his girlfriend’s marriage being fixed with someone else. It was in this sorrow that he embraced death. Before committing suicide, he had posted a status on WhatsApp in which it was written – ‘The end is the beginning, I am leaving… take care of yourself.’
The name of the deceased youth is Pawan Pandey. He was 28 years old and lived in Defense Colony of BKT. Pawan currently worked as an accountant in a milk dairy company. Family members told that he had met a girl through a gaming app. Gradually both of them became friends.
According to the deceased’s brother Manoj, Pawan had come in contact with a girl from Nagpur while playing online games four years ago. After this, conversation started between the two. But on 14 December the girl got married, due to which Pawan started getting worried.
Pawan had not even eaten dinner on Sunday night. When the family members went to the room to see him, the door was locked from inside. Even after calling several times, there was no response, so the family broke the door and went inside where they saw Pawan hanging from the fan’s handle with the help of a muffler.
Police said that a suicide note has been found from Pawan, in which he has held himself responsible for his death. In the suicide note, Pawan has written that Rs 6 lakh is deposited in his account, which should be deposited as FD in the names of his two nieces. Due to Pawan’s death, the family members are in bad condition and crying.
