The police have sent the corpse to the Morchary of the Civil Hospital for post -mortem.

The police has prepared a list of all 42 drums making companies of Ludhiana from where such drums could be purchased. These companies are being questioned as to whom such drums have been sold recently.

Any suspicious activity is being searched with the help of city surveillance cameras, railway stations, bus stands and cameras installed in other public places. Numbers of some vehicles have also been identified which were seen around the site of the incident.
