How is the film?

There is no doubt in the fact that ‘Maa’ made in Satan Universe is a weak film. If you have seen the film Satan, then you must have liked it too. Through the shortcomings, that film came in front of all of us with a good story, which has rarely seen in Bollywood. The film had great actors like Ajay Devgan, R Madhavan, Janaki Bodiwal and Jyothika. Here you have Kajol, who is running this film on her shoulders. He is supporting Indranil Sengupta, whose character is quite small, and Ronit Roy. The performance of the actors in the film is good. But its lack is in the story and screenplay.

Director Vishal Furia was given the responsibility of pursuing Satan Universe, in which he did not pass with full numbers. The story of the film is written by Ajit Jagtap, Amil Qian Khan and Saivin Quadras. It reminds you of Anushka Sharma’s film ‘Pari’ and Sharavari Wagh’s film ‘Munjya’. The film is very slow. Its first half tests your patience, but still the film keeps you with you for some reason. In the second half, the picture gains pace and its layers start to open. The picture has a lot of jump scares, which increase your heartbeat in between. Its climax is also good. However, an entire scene could be cut from it, which is quite strange and beyond understanding. The music of the film is fine.

Kajol has given good performance in this film. Kajol, who was the top heroine of the time of 90s, never leaves a decrease in her performance. However, the story and screenplay of pictures always come in the way of their success. Actors like Indranil Sengupta and Surajyashikha Das, Gopal Singh, Roopkatha Chakravarti, Dibayendu Bhattacharya are in important roles in this film. Everyone has done a good job. Ronit Roy is the hidden Rustom of the film. Their work is good. However, his character is largely predicted. Kherin Sharma has done well he has done well. However, in most scenes, she talks in irritating voice, which pierces your ears.
