Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Vice President Malik Motasim Khan has welcomed the decision to acquit all the 12 accused by the Bombay High Court in the 7/11 Mumbai local train blast case. In this regard, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind says that the recent decision has exposed the serious omission of investigation and decisive evidence, which has raised serious questions on the criminal justice system.

On July 11, 2006, 189 people were killed and more than 800 people were injured in the serial blasts in Mumbai’s local train in an interval of 11 minutes.
Malik Motasim requested to prioritize justice for victims of blast
Malik Motasim, while urging the government to prioritize justice for the victims of blasts, said, “The families of the people killed and injured in 7/11 attacks should be given justice, which has not been found even after 19 years.
