A major accident took place at Paranda railway station in Jalgaon, Maharashtra on Wednesday (January 22). There was a stampede here after the rumor of fire in Pushpak Express. Fearing the fire, passengers jumped out of the Pushpak Express. After this, the Karnataka Express passing through another track crushed the passengers. The incident took place on Mumbai bound Pushpak Express between Jalgaon and Paranda station. The passenger said that when the train was moving, people jumped because the train caught fire and Bengaluru Express was running ahead of it. This accident happened between Jalgaon and Pachaura stations. Pushpak was in the direction of Mumbai and Karnataka Express was in the direction of Delhi. It is being told that smoke was seen coming out from under the train, after which people got scared and started jumping from the train. Generally, smoke also comes out due to heat but it is not fire.
