Mahindra XEV 9e Pack 3 Price: Mahindra launched its new electric SUV ‘XEV 9E’ late last year. At that time the company had announced the price of only its base variant (Pack 1) which starts from Rs 21.90 lakh. Now the company has revealed the price of its top-spec (Pack 3) variant. The price of its top variant starts from Rs 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the prices of the mid-spec variant i.e. (Pack 2) are yet to be revealed. It is important to note here that these prices do not include the cost of the charger, which will have to be purchased separately.
Booking and Delivery:
Bookings for the top variant Pack Three of Mahindra XEV 9e will start from February 14 and deliveries will be made in early March. The company has not yet shared information about the registration and delivery timeline of other trims. But customers can wishlist this electric SUV through the company’s official smartphone app.
How is Mahindra XEV 9e:
Talking about size, it is bigger than Mahindra’s famous model XUV700. Its length is approximately 5 mm longer than that of the XUV700, while its wheelbase is also 5 mm longer than that of the XUV’s 2,750 mm. Due to which you also get a better cabin. It has been given a futuristic design. It features triangular headlights with projector headlamps, inverted L-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRL), LED light bar at the front, new front and rear bumpers, blanked-off grille, front and rear skid plates and contrast colored exterior. Side rear view mirrors (ORVM) are provided.
It also gets flush door handles, muscular shoulder lines and specially designed aero-optimized 19-inch alloy wheels for additional range. However, the option of 20-inch alloy wheels is also available with this SUV. At the rear, it gets slim, connected LED tail-lights just below the boot spoiler which enhances its rear profile.
Driving Range and Charging:
Based on the INGLO platform, this SUV has been introduced with two different battery packs including 59kWh and 79kWh. LFP (Lithium-Iron Phosphate) battery is provided in both its variants. On which the company is giving life time warranty. Mahindra claims that the car with 79kWh unit gives a range of 656 km on a single charge. In the real world, this SUV is capable of traveling at least 533 kilometers.
That means, after charging this electric SUV once, you can travel from Delhi to Lucknow. The distance between these two cities is approximately 540 km. However, load, road conditions and driving style have a complete impact on the driving range of the car. The company says that, using a 175kW DC fast charger, the battery can be charged from 20 to 80 percent in just 20 minutes.
The cabin is fantastic:
This 5-seater car has 3 different screens. In which each screen is 12.3 inches. These run on Mahindra’s Adrenox software. This SUV has been given a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, on which an illuminated logo is found. Electronic parking brake, drive mode and brake-by-wire technology have also been used very well in it. The boot space of 650 liters and the frunk (small storage space found under the front bonnet) of 150 liters give you complete luggage storage facility.
