According to police officials, Priyanka Gandhi was going to Kochi Airport after attending the programs in her constituency and Malappuram district at around 9.30 pm on Saturday (29 March). During this time, an accused allegedly stopped in front of his car convoy, angry at playing the horn of the vehicle involved in the security of Priyanka Gandhi, MP from Wayanad. The incident took place at Mannothi bypass junction where the accused stopped the convoy without any reason and the situation became tense. The police has started investigating the case.
