Mamta Banerjee is very skeptical about possible threats in the upcoming West Bengal elections, so the blockade has already started. Mamta Banerjee is feeling the same political threat like CAA and NRC in SIR. This seems to be the same with the Chief Minister of West Bengal, and this is the reason that the ruling BJP at the Center has become aggressive against the leadership.
Police action against Bangla -speaking people in some parts of the country has also given Mamata Banerjee a chance. In fact, the report of such incidents has come from the states where the BJP is government. As soon as the opportunity is handed over, Mamata Banerjee is openly playing against the BJP, so that it can be ‘played’ again in the upcoming assembly elections – but, BJP is also more cautious than before.
Many state BJP leaders have been knocking in the eyes since the center has been in power. The next goal of BJP is West Bengal after conquering Delhi fort. Where the BJP wanted to move beyond success in the 2019 general election, and where the West Bengal assembly elections of 2021 and the Lok Sabha elections of 2024 had to be shocked – now she is sitting in search of opportunity like a wounded hunter.
Mamta Banerjee knows that if he has not started a campaign against BJP in time, difficulties can be severe and uncontrollable – and this is what Mamata Banerjee has started the language movement with thinking and thoughtfully.
Now the question arises that how effective Mamata Banerjee’s language movement against BJP can prove?
How effective will Mamta’s language movement be
Even though the name has been named language movement, it is actually the election campaign of Trinamool Congress. Mamta Banerjee started the language movement from Bolpur in West Bengal. Under the language movement, there is emphasis on Bangla language on steps. Mamta Banerjee had also said that from now on they will talk in Bangla language – and in the monsoon session of Parliament, TMC leader Kalyan Banerjee has also tried his best to expand the campaign by giving his speech in Bangla language.
Mamta Banerjee’s language movement is slightly different. This campaign does not talk about avoiding another language for one language. For example, it is seen in states like Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. In Maharashtra, Bhai Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray, who have been separated for twenty years in the name of Marathi language, have started rally, and have come so close that they have started reaching home and even giving birthdays. Like Maharashtra, this issue takes the form of Hindi opposition in Tamil Nadu – but Mamata Banerjee does not have any opposition from Hindi at all.
Mamta Banerjee is clearly saying that she will never want to leave Hindi speaking Bengal. Mamta Banerjee is upset with the target of Bangla speakers. Mamta Banerjee alleges that Bengali migrant laborers in BJP ruled states are being sent to the detention camp – and are saying that she will give her life, but will not allow anyone to snatch her language.
Accusing the BJP of linguistic terrorism, Mamata Banerjee says, we will not allow this attempt to endanger our existence in the name of linguistic terrorism, and this effort to implement NRC from the back door … I will not allow NRC to implement NRC or to build a detention camp in Bengal.
1. Mamta Banerjee has tried to clean her stand. Mamta Banerjee says, I do not accept the imagination of a nation that kills the migrant only because of speaking Bangla.
2. Mamta Banerjee says that Bengali is the fifth language in the world and the second most spoken language in Asia, yet Bengalis are being tortured. Asks, why do you hate? If Bengal can accept 1.5 crore migrant laborers from other states… can give them shelter, then why can’t you accept 22 lakh migrants working in other states? Obviously, this question of Mamta Banerjee is from BJP.
3. And then gives a clear warning, if you try to remove the name from Bengal, the consequences will have to bear the results … Are you ready to face the opposition of our mothers, sisters and our cultural group, when they rise against you in a non -violent way?
4. Mamta Banerjee is repeating one thing again and again, we have no enmity with any language … I am not against any language … but if you try to erase our language and culture, we will be peacefully, with full force… and will oppose politically.
Promise of all possible help on returning Bengali laborers
Just as Prashant Kishore in Bihar, after coming to Chhath, gives anyone a comfort not to return for work, Mamata Banerjee is appealing to the migrant Bengali laborers to return to West Bengal – the special thing is that Mamata Banerjee has made a very emotional appeal.
Taking the name of Bengali sweets, Mamata Banerjee said, I might not be able to feed you or Pius … If we eat a bread, you will also give you a bread … You do not need to live in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra or Rajasthan … You can live here in peace.
According to the Chief Minister, about 22 lakh migrant laborers of Bengal are working in different states – and Mamata Banerjee has promised to provide ration cards, health cards and employment to all such laborers. Said, we will give you social security and will also get your children admitted in schools.
Addressing the migrant laborers, Mamata Banerjee assures, you have the helpline number of Bengal Police … Contact us if there is a problem… Tell us when you want to come back to Bengal? We will bring you back respectfully from the train.
What else do you want? Such election promises do work, provided that if you have already decided that the question arises later, Jumla will tell.
