Mamta made a statement on Mahakumbh during the session of West Bengal Assembly.
On the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that Mahakumbh has turned into ‘death Kumbh’. He said that VIPs are being given special facilities, but the poor are being denied it. They are craving for facilities.
Mamta made this statement during the budget session in the assembly. Earlier, Lalu Prasad Yadav has called Kumbh as waste.
Lalu Prasad Yadav had said- Aquarius is useless, it has no meaning On the night of 15 February at New Delhi railway station, 18 people died of a stampede. Among them were 9 people from Bihar. Lalu Prasad Yadav had said that ‘Kumbh’ is unnecessary when a huge crowd gathered in Kumbh.
He had said that this very sad incident has happened. I pay tribute to all people. It is the fault of the railway. This incident has happened due to malignancy, negligence. So many people have died. I regret a lot. The Railway Minister should take responsibility for this. Read full news …
