A new twist has come in the case of Agra’s famous Manav Sharma suicide case. The police have finally arrested the accused wife Nikita Sharma and her father Nipendra Sharma, accused in the suicide of TCS Company’s recruitment manager Manav Sharma’s suicide.
Both the absconding accused were hiding in Ahmedabad district of Gujarat, from where the Agra police team arrested him and brought him to Agra on transit remand. Let us know that on the morning of February 24, the body of Manav Sharma, a resident of Defense Colony, was found hanging.
A day before the incident, on 23 February, he returned from Mumbai and left his wife Nikita in his maternal home Barhan village. After this, on 24 February, he came live on social media and committed suicide. The matter remained a mystery until the human sister Akanksha unlocked her mobile. The video found in the phone was considered proof of suicide.
Relief was not received from the High Court
After the video surfaced, the police registered a case of abetment of suicide against Nikita Sharma, her father Nipendra, mother and sister. After the case was registered, Nikita and her father escaped on the morning of 28 February. The father had filed an anticipatory bail petition in the Prayagraj High Court, but there was no relief from the court.
Police had kept a reward of 10-10 thousand
Meanwhile, the police had already arrested Nikita’s mother and sister and sent them to jail. The police had also declared a reward of ten thousand rupees for the arrest of Nikita and her father. The police team led by ASP Sadar Vinayak Bhosle raided Ahmedabad and arrested both.
Both were produced in the court on Saturday under the non-bailable warrant of the court. Now the police is interrogating Nikita, which will try to know where she was during the absconding, what happened in the last conversation with man and whether she threatened human beings for any legal action.
