Mandi Police and SDRF took out four people safely from a 4 -mile dense forest in the joint operation. On Saturday night, three tourists of Punjab and one Dharampur resident of Punjab went out on the way to the footpath.

These people following some local people lost their way. The locals went ahead and these four got stuck in the forest. After spending about 6 hours in the forest, a tourist called Sadar police station Mandi and sought help. As soon as the information was received at 10 pm, the police team led by Inspector Deshraj reached the spot.

The police took them out of a deep ditch with the help of flashlight and sticks. B rescue the remaining two people from the nearby area. During this, the SDRF team also reached the spot. The two teams together brought the four to the safe main road and gave water.
Three tourists were rushed to Mandi Gurdwara after a four -hour rescue operation. A resident of Dharampur was sent home by private vehicle. Tehsildar was also present on the spot.
