The dacoity in the Mannapuram Gold Bank located on the Shitala Mata Mandir Road in Gurugram, Haryana, adjacent to Delhi, shocked the entire city. According to preliminary information, between 5 and a half to 6 pm, 4 to 5 armed crooks entered the bank. Taking the bank staff at the tip of arms, the crooks reached the bank manager directly and threatened to hand over cash and gold.
Attack on bank manager and employees
The bank manager tried to oppose the miscreants, after which the dacoits attacked their head and seriously injured them. During the incident, 2 to 3 other employees were also injured by miscreants, who have been admitted to the nearest hospital.
According to the police, the amount of money and how much gold has been looted in the robbery, it has not been estimated yet. However, initial investigation has revealed that the dacoits escaped from the spot by looting cash and gold worth lakhs of rupees. The police have started searching for the accused by taking possession of the nearby CCTV footage.
The crooks entered with planning
Investigating officials who reached the spot said that the crooks had entered the bank in a fully organized and planned manner. These armed miscreants controlled the entire staff in a few minutes and escaped without any fear.
This incident has raised serious questions on the security system of Gurugram police. There is an atmosphere of panic among the people due to robbery in the bank located on the main road in broad daylight. Local people have accused the police of negligence and said that such an incident was not possible if the patrol and security system was strong.
At present, the police have blocked all the entry and exit routes of the city and the search for miscreants has been intensified. Police sources say that the accused will be arrested soon.
