From Maruti WagonR to Grand Vitara, the price of all models will be increased from Rs 2,500 to Rs 62,000.
Why the price is increasing:
According to the information received by the company, it was necessary to increase the price of cars due to the construction cost and operation of different models of Maruti Suzuki. Input cost and raw material prices are also being described as the reason for this increase. The company said to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited that however, “The company has constantly tried that the impact of input costs and prices on customers was minimized, but it was necessary to put some part of the increased cost on the market.”
How much price will increase:
Maruti Suzuki says that the increase in prices will depend on different models. The price of the company’s famous SUV Grand Vitara will increase by Rs 62,000. At the same time, the price of the company’s cheapest van Maruti Eeco will increase by about Rs 22,500. The price of Wagon R, called Maruti’s toll boy, will be increased by Rs 14,000.
