The E-Vitara will have two battery packs of 49 kwh and 61 kwh. Its 49 kwh battery variant can generate a maximum power of 142 bhp and peak torque of 189 Nm, while the 61 kwh battery variant will provide 172 bhp power and 189 Nm peak torque. E-Vitara’s manufacturing especially Battery HeartEct-E platforms will be done for electric vehicles running from. It has two separate electric excels on the front and rear. This electric SUV will have a 10.1 -inch infotainment display and a 10.25 -inch instrument panel. The WLTP range will be around 346 km in the single charge of its 49 kwh battery variants. The 61 kwh battery variant with its single motor will give a range of about 430 kilometers and a dual motor with similar battery will give a range of about 412 km.
This electric SUV will compete with Yundai’s Creta Electric, Tata Motors’ Curvv Ev, Mg Motor’s ZS EV. It has features like security seven airbags, level-2 Adas and 360 degree camera. Maruti Suzuki has not given information about the pricing and booking of E-Vitara. The company plans to include six EV models in its portfolio in the coming years.
