According to the information, the victim is originally from Bhopal. He is working in an IT company in Noida. The victim met the accused through the matrimonial site ‘Jeevansathi.com’. After the initial conversation, the two first met on 11 August 2024 at a hotel in Sector-56, Noida, where the two made physical relations. After this, the accused announced to marry her in a party in Sector-18, Noida. Both started living together in live in.

According to the complaint of the victim, the accused described himself as the owner of the construction company and asked her to quit the job. The victim got caught in her trap and quit her job on 22 October 2024. Meanwhile, the accused obtained the password of his mobile and transferred 25 lakh rupees to his account. Along with this, took a personal loan of 40 lakh rupees through 20-25 Fintech apps. On 16 March 2025, he disappeared by saying that he went to Jaipur.

When the victim came to know about her, it was revealed that she is already married. He was losing marriage by lying to her. ADCP Sumit Shukla said that on the basis of the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case under rape, fraud and IT Act at Sector-58 police station of Noida. The search for the accused has been started. He will be arrested soon, this case is a serious example of misuse of matrimonial sites and cyber fraud.
