A young man was held hostage and beaten by a tribal family in Gadra village of Shahpur police station area in Mauganj district of Madhya Pradesh. Ashok Kumar tribal died in the accident. The tribal family had accused a young man named Sunny Dwivedi of murder, not considering it as an accident. On Holi, at around 4 pm, the tribal family caught Sunny Dwivedi and locked him in a room and beat her. Sunny has also died in the fight.

The accused attacked with poles and stones Shahpur police station in -charge Sandeep reached the spot with his team as soon as the information of the young man was beaten up. Several policemen including police station in -charge Sandeep Bhartiya, Hanumana Tehsildar Kunware Lal Panika, ASI Jupiter Patel, ASI Ram Charan Gautam, SDOP reader Ankit Shukla and Jawahar Singh Yadav of 25th Battalion were injured in the attack.
All the injured have been admitted to the Civil Hospital in Mauganj for treatment. ASI Ram Charan Gautam died during treatment. At the same time, a heavy police force has been deployed to control the situation. Some policemen are still being stated in the arrest of the accused.
Seeing the situation uncontrollable, the station in -charge Sandeep Bhartiya informed the senior officers. Police has detained two people on the entire case. After this there was a ruckus once again.
