The police have so far registered 10 FIRs in violent demonstrations and sabotage cases after the prayers of Jumme in Bareilly. Also, the police has arrested many miscreants. Police are interrogating the arrested accused for the arrest of other miscreants. Apart from this, the police has put Maulana Tauqir Raza under house arrest. Late in the night, the police shifted Tauqir Raja to another place from his close house. Police say that wherever there is a disturbance, separate FIRs will be registered there.
Maulana Tauqir Raja announced the Protest in the controversy of ‘I Love Mohammed’ in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. But on the persuasion of the police administration, Maulana Tauqir Raza withdrew his performance. But on this Friday, a few hours before the prayer of Jumme, suddenly Maulana Tauqir Raza announced the Protest again. After which the protesters started moving forward, breaking the barricading imposed by the police.

During this time, by breaking barricading, crowds entered other areas of the city and vandalized vehicles. After which the police charged sticks after seeing the rising violent mob. The police have registered 10 FIRs for this violent demonstration. The police also said that wherever the protesting people, an FIR will be lodged from the police everywhere.
More than 10 policemen injured
More than 10 policemen have been injured in a violent demonstration in the name of I Love Mohammed. The police is looking for the miscreants. The police have more than 200 video footage of nuisance. This video is identifying the disturbances. So far, about 25 suspects of uproar have been detained. The police are searching for other miscreants by showing videos to those detained.
DIG Ajay Kumar Sahni said that the police was in touch with religious leaders two days before Friday’s prayers, and in most areas the prayers were performed peacefully. Some mischievous elements were found shouting slogans and throwing stones at the police. Light force was used in retaliation and he was arrested. The DIG said that an FIR is being lodged.
The way the crowd came out with a banner and pelted stones, it indicates a well -planned conspiracy. Based on the video and photos of the incident, all the people involved will be identified and action will be taken against them.
What did the locals say?
Local people said that after the violence, shops in many areas including Alamgiriganj, Bansmandi, Civil Lines, Bada Bazaar, Qutubkhana and Biharipur spread panic. There were reports of stone pelting from Azamnagar and Kumar Talkies.
Currently, senior officials including DIG, SSP Anurag Arya and DM are camping in the Kotwali area to monitor the situation. DM said that the situation is now under control. No untoward incident is reported. We are appealing to people to maintain peace and harmony. The deployment of heavy police force has converted a large part of the city into a type of fort, and additional security arrangements have been made in sensitive areas.

Controversy started on 9 September
The dispute started on 9 September, when the Kanpur police had registered an FIR against nine nominated and 15 unidentified people on charges of putting a board on public road during the procession of Baravafat. Hindu organizations had opposed such a procession and described it as “deviation from tradition” and “intentional provocative”.
Within a few hours, this dispute spread to many districts of Uttar Pradesh and states like Uttarakhand and Karnataka. Due to which protests took place and the police took action. The controversy also caught the attention of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, who said that it is not a crime to say “I Love Muhammad”.
