Meta has taken action against two Facebook groups and three Instagram accounts associated with Goshamahal BJP MLA T Raja Singh for violating the rules of hatred and violating the rules of platform. In the Hate Speech case, Facebook took action and banned BJP MLA T Raja Singh from his platform in 2020.
Despite the ban, he and his supporters continued to broadcast hate speeches by creating several pages on many Facebook during the 2024 general elections. In the Washington India Hate Lab report, it was claimed that these platforms often shared information about Raja Singh’s programs and promoted his hate speeches.
‘Action is not taken against those who insult Hindu culture’
After this action of Meta, the response of BJP MP T Raja Singh has also come out. He said, “It is very unfortunate that today, social media accounts of my family, friends, activists and supporters have been blocked by Facebook and Instagram. Earlier, on the basis of a complaint from Rahul Gandhi, my official account is wrongly made. Was targeted from my video too.

Raja Singh gave 32 hatred speeches across the country- reports
The IHL report was published on 10 February with the ‘Social Media and Hate Speech’ Headline in India, which analyzed the languages ​​used in many celebrations including political rallies, election programs, religious processions, protest marches.
According to the report, Facebook and YouTube were the primary platform to spread hatred speeches. It claimed that 495 videos of hatred speeches on Facebook, while there were 211 such videos on YouTube. According to IHL, Raja Singh gave 32 hate speeches in programs organized across the country, out of which he had clearly erupted violence in 22.
