Police has brought Swami Chaitanyanand from Agra to Delhi in a private institute of Delhi and brought him to Delhi. His medical examination is being conducted at Safdarjung Hospital, after which it will be produced in Patiala House Court in Delhi.
Swami Chaitanyanand, who has been absconding for the last several days, was constantly changing his hideouts to avoid arrest, but he did not work for any cleverness in Agra, UP and he climbed the hand of Delhi Police.
Arrest in dramatic manner
The arrest took place late Saturday after a dramatic incident. Swami Chaitanyanand was hidden in Room No. 101 of Hotel The First in Agra. Chaitanyanand reached this hotel at around 4:00 pm on Saturday evening and checked in room number 101.
The police had got a clue of it, after which the entire trap was laid to catch it. The CCTV video of Chaitanyanand has also surfaced to leave this hotel.
What did the hotel staff say?
Now about his arrest, a hotel staff told that at around 3:30 pm, two people reached the hotel and asked the receptionist India directly. Both of them described themselves as an officer of Delhi Police and sought information about Swami Chaitanyanand, who stayed in the hotel.
He said, ‘The receptionist told them the number of the room without any delay, after which both the people reached the room directly, opened the door and arrested Swami Chaitanyanand and immediately took them into the car.
Seeing this arrest, the hotel management and the people around were completely surprised. The hotel staff says that they were not already given any information that the police would come. When the sudden people who came suddenly described themselves as an officer of the Delhi Police, the hotel staff gave them full support.
