A minor dispute in Bhilwara, Rajasthan took the form of violence on Friday evening. Due to this, a young man lost his life. This incident in the main market of Jahazpur town has raised questions on law and order. In fact, Sitaram, a resident of Tonk district, came to Jahazpur to attend a family ceremony with his three friends Sikander, Dilkhush and Deepak.
On Friday evening, when the four friends were passing through the main market, their car accidentally collided with a cart. The cart belonged to Sharif Mohammed. At first there was an argument on both sides, then the debate turned into increasing fighting. During this, Sharif Mohammed called some people on the spot. More than 20 people gathered there. Angry mob pulled Sitaram from the car.
Started beating him brutally. Sitaram continued to apologize with folded hands and kept talking about compensation for the loss, but the frenzied crowd did not stop. His car was also damaged. When the condition deteriorated, the friend somehow tried to take Sitaram to the hospital on a bike, but he had died before reaching the hospital. The doctors declared him dead.
After this incident, tension was seen in the entire area. A large number of people, including the family of the deceased Sitaram, sat on a dharna outside the hospital. People demanded that the accused be arrested immediately. With this, compensation should be given to the family of the deceased. After this, local MLA Gopichand Meena reached the spot. He interacted with the people protesting and explained, then people agreed.
Bhilwara SP Dharmendra Singh said that a case of murder has been registered in Jahazpur police station in this case. The main accused Sharif’s son Chand Mohammad has been arrested late Friday, while another suspect has been detained. The police have registered an FIR against 16 nominated and 20 unidentified people. Forces of 10 police stations have been deployed to maintain peace.
