The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has expressed the possibility that the southwest monsoon will reach most parts of Central and Eastern India from 12 to 18 June. The Meteorological Department said that since May 29, the speed of monsoon has slowed down due to dry winds coming from west and northwest India.
Rainfall only 19 mm between 1 and 6 June
The Meteorological Department said that this dry weather has affected most parts of the Indian subcontinent and the monsoon speed has also been affected. According to the IMD data, only 19 mm of rainfall was received between 1 and 6 June, which is only 3.4 percent of the average of the long time period. The monsoon speed over Mumbai has been stabilized from 26 May and in West Bengal of Sikkim and Sub-Himalayan range from 29 May.
Imd Warned to run with rain with rain
However, the meteorological experts say that the speed of rain will increase once again. The north-east states of India are expected to receive rain from June 9 and Southern Peninsular India from June 11.
The Meteorological Department has said that although the monsoon is going to start again in the coming days, the situation of heat and heat will also remain in some areas. The IMD has issued a warning regarding heat and heat in Punjab, Haryana, South Uttar Pradesh and North Madhya Pradesh between 8 and 10 June and between 9 to 10 June.
