The work of intense revision of voter list in Bihar has reached the final stage. The Election Commission has informed that so far 80.11% of the voters have submitted their eligibility certificate (EF) form and submitted. If this speed continues, then this work will be completed across the state in the next three days.
By Saturday evening, forms of 6,32,59,497 voters were submitted, which is about 80.11% of the total voters of the state. Under this special campaign, 77,895 BLOs and 20,603 newly appointed BLOs are collecting forms from house to house. Apart from this, 1.5 lakh BLA and more than 4 lakh volunteers are engaged in helping senior citizens, disabled and weaker sections.
So far 4.66 crore forms have been uploaded digitally on an integrated software platform called ECINet. This platform now incorporates 40 different apps of the Election Commission in one place, making the functioning and sharp and transparent.
Eligible voters will have to submit their EF form in time to register the name in the draft voter list to be published on 1 August 2025. Those who do not have documents yet, they can submit the documents separately by 30 August 2025.
The entire process is monitored by Election Officer (DEO) of 38 districts, ERO of 243 constituencies and 963 assistant ERO. It has been made clear from the Election Commission that they want to do maximum work before the deadline.
