Five people died in a tragic accident on Tuesday in Guna district. This accident happened when some people came down to save the calf that fell in a well. Initial investigation has revealed that he died of poisonous gas, possibly due to carbon monoxide.
How did the accident happen?
District Collector Kishore Kanyal informed that the incident took place at around 11 am. According to preliminary information, six people landed in a well to remove the calf. Three of these people died on the spot, while two were taken to Guna district hospital in critical condition, but they also died during treatment. Only one person was able to get out safely.
Trouble in rescue work
The collector said that the well was filled with water about 12 feet, which caused huge problems in the rescue work. CISF GAIL Units, SDERF and teams of other agencies reached the spot and started the rescue operation, but by then five people had lost their lives.
The incident ran after the calf
Villagers told that this well is located in a mango orchard. On Tuesday morning, some people working on contract were breaking mangoes. Meanwhile, a calf came to the field, which was tried to drive away. While running, he fell into the well. To save him, all these people went into the well in turn and an accident happened.
Dead bodies were sent for postmortem
The collector informed that the matter is being investigated and the bodies have been sent for post -mortem. It is expected that due to the accumulation of gas in the well, the death of the well, which led to death.
