The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted 104 to 106% rainfall in the state for June to September i.e. four months. That is, this time 40 inches or more water may fall in the state. The meteorological department issued a forecast on 27 May.

At the same time, on May 26, the monsoon had reached several cities including Mumbai, Pune in Maharashtra 15 days ago, while the normal date of monsoon is till June 10. Because of this it took more days to come to Madhya Pradesh. The Meteorological Department had earlier predicted the monsoon entry till 4 June. The normal date for monsoon entering MP is June 15. In the year 2024 it was late for 6 days.
Entry from these districts According to the Meteorological Department, the southern part of the state i.e. Mandla, Seoni, Dindori, Balaghat, Anuppur, Burhanpur, Pandhurna, Betul, Barwani knocks every year. At the same time, Gwalior reaches the most late in Chambal. Talking about the year 2024, the monsoon entered Pandhurna, Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori and Anuppur districts. This time also monsoon has reached these districts.
Expected to be better than normal rain This time the monsoon is expected to be better than normal in the state. According to estimates, 104 to 106% i.e. an average of 39-40 inches of rain may occur. Jabalpur, Sagar-Shadol division will have the highest water fall. Kota will also be full in Gwalior, Chambal, Indore, Ujjain, Narmadapuram, Rewa and Bhopal divisions.
The average of 44.1 inches of rainfall was received in the year 2024. 44 districts including Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur received more than quota. The result has been that soybean production had increased by 2 quintals per hectare. At the same time, water had fallen enough for wheat-gram. Earlier in the year 2023, more than 25 districts of the state received less than normal rainfall.
