Betul MLA Hemant Kumar Khandelwal was elected the new president of Madhya Pradesh BJP in the presence of senior party leaders. Hemant Khandelwal’s father Vijay Kumar was a Lok Sabha member four times from Khandelwal Betul. After the father’s death in 2007, Hemant Khandelwal contested from Betul and first entered the Lok Sabha.
