Sources associated with the government say that Noel Tata has also agreed, but his schedule has not come yet. At the same time, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, Azim Premji of Wipro, Sajjan Jindal of JSW and Anand Mahindra with Mahindra Group could not get the consent till 19 February. There is doubt on their arrival due to lack of consent till 3 days before the Investors Summit.
According to officials of MP Industrial Development Corporation (MPSIDC), 22 thousand registrations have been done for the summit. In this, women associated with industry are also participating. Explain that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Global Investors Summit at Bhopal’s Human Museum. The next day i.e. on February 25, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also attend the summit.

- Azim Premji: The government has also sent an invitation to Wipro Chairman Azim Premji. Premji has not responded to this invitation.
- Anand Mahindra: The schedule of Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra has also not come till 19 February.
- Sajjan Jindal: No response has come from JSW Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal and his son Partha Jindal so far. It is reported that Sajjan Jindal is in Europe during this period.
Why is there doubt about their arrival?

Three thousand women will also be involved There have been 22 thousand registrations for the Investors Summit, including 3 thousand women. Of these, 1300 women will participate in MSME and Startup Summit. Parle Group CEO Shauna Chauhan has also agreed to join the summit.
Government’s argument- will be more impactful than the previous summit The government argues that this year’s Global Investors Summit will be more impactful than the previous summit. The reason is that the government has organized eight regional industry conclave last year. Apart from different cities of the state, CM and government officials met industrialists at the Conclave held in Kolkata, Bangalore, Coimbatore.
Through this, the government is claiming to get an investment proposal of more than 2 lakh crores. The MoU will not be signed in this summit. Industrialists who want to invest will give intent letters to the government. It is written in which sector they want to invest.
The government received a proposal of 15 lakh crore at the Investors Summit held in Indore in the year 2023. The government claims that the Global Investors Summit will get more investment proposals.
Japan-Canada delegation will also be involved Delegation from Japan, UK, Germany and Canada will also participate in the Global Investors Summit (GIS). Japan’s Uniclo Textile Group is preparing to make a big investment in MP. 15 members of this group will come to participate in the summit. The company can do a major textile work in Madhya Pradesh.
McCain, a private group in Canada, will invest 4500 crore in the food processing sector. This group is the largest producer of potato products in the world. Apart from this, countries like UK, Germany and Japan will take Madhya Pradesh’s investment plans internationally as a country partner. Teams of 30-30 members of these countries will come to GIS.
500 overseas Indians will also be involved The Global Investors Summit will also include 500 NIRs from 15 countries i.e. overseas Indians. A migrant Madhya Pradesh Summit will be organized for these. There will be special participation of members of the ‘Friends of MP’ team in this summit.
The one and a half hour summit will be addressed by Lina Vaidya, chairman of Abu Dhabi Chapter, Pramit Makode, Chairman of Boston Chapter, Rohit Dixit, Chairman of UK Chapter, Prerna Bhardwaj Bhardwaj of Jerald Cross London UK Chapter, Lord Remi Ranger of House of Lords UK. The responsibility of the Pravasi Bharatiya Summit has been given to the Overseas Department.
After the summit, overseas Indians can be rotated in many places including tourist places around Bhopal like Sanchi, Bhimbetka, Udayagiri.
