Indigo’s A321 plane touched the tail runway at Mumbai airport on Saturday. The airline said that due to bad weather, the pilot decided to do the Go-Around (process of takeoff again) instead of landing. Meanwhile, the back part of the aircraft collided with the runway.
IndiGo issued a statement saying- Today the A321 aircraft went to a lower height. During this, the tail touched the runway. The aircraft later made a safe landing in a second attempt.
The airline said that all passengers and crew are safe. The aircraft will be tested and repaired after the incident and it will be included in the operation again only after the necessary regulatory approval.
