Mumbai torres scam: The accused in the Torres scam, who cheated crores of rupees from thousands of Mumbaikars, have now made their hideout in Bulgaria. The accused of this scam have now tried to target the citizens of Bulgaria after India.
It has been learned from sources that this gang is trying to cheat people by luring more money on investment. In this fraud case in Mumbai, 12,783 people have lodged a complaint with the Economic Offenses Branch Police. Investigations so far have revealed that the accused has escaped by embezzling Rs 130 crore.

Like Mumbai, in Bangalore, Surat, Chennai and Kolkata, the gang of cheating by opening a torres office was exposed in time. However, a senior police officer said that after escaping from India, the gang has given an eye on Bulgaria. On the basis of crimes registered by the Economic Offenses Branch Police, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has also registered a separate case and started investigation.
Blue corner notice issued
So far, EOW Police (Economic Offenses Branch) has arrested 6 people in this case. After the arrest of 6 people, now the EOW police has now issued a blue corner notice against the absconding Ukrainian accused in this case.
What is a blue corner notice?
A blue corner notice is issued to collect information about a person in connection with a criminal investigation or to gather information about his activities. Through this notice, the people of the International Police’s Co -operation body share information. These notices are issued to investigate or search about a absconding and suspected criminals. Interpol cannot ignore it after the notice is issued. Whatever information is sought from them, it has to be given.
