Mumbai: Two people drowned by Haji Ali during bone immersion in the sea – Two Drown While Immersing Ashes in Mumbai Sea LCLK

On Saturday, a painful accident occurred during the bone immersion of the sea in Worli, Mumbai, in which two people died due to drowning and one person was injured. The accident took place near Lotus Jetty near Haji Ali at around 5:40 pm.

According to the report of the news agency, three people had reached the beach to immerse the ashes of a late family. Meanwhile, all three people came under flow due to the balance in the sea waves. With the help of local fishermen and police personnel, they were immediately taken out of the sea and rushed to Nair Hospital.

In the hospital, doctors declared 51 -year -old Santosh Vishveshwar and 45 -year -old Kunal Cocate dead. At the same time, the third person, 58 -year -old Sanjay Sarvankar is being treated in the hospital and his condition is said to be stable.

According to eyewitnesses, all three became unbalanced due to the sudden raised waves in the sea and went into deep water. The police is now investigating the case that there was no lapse in security measures.

Local people have appealed to the administration to make safe and controlled arrangements for works like bone immersion so that such incidents can be avoided in future.
