Mufti Mohammad Akbar Kasami, the metropolitan president of Jamiat-Ulema-e-Hind in Aligarh, UP, has given a statement regarding the Waqf Bill. He has alleged that through this bill, efforts are being made to snatch the religious rights of Muslims. In such a situation, Muslims will take to the streets and register protests, this protest will be the same as Muslims had taken to the streets at the time of independence. The government should not allow this to happen.
Mufti Mohammad Akbar Kasami further said that the Waqf Bill has passed, there is no problem, now we will do what we have under the law. Will bring his voice to the court. We will continue the fight and will continue to fight. We will bring our voice up to the top under the Constitution. It will be our endeavor to withdraw this bill in any way. Because, the bill from which Muslim is in anger, Muslim forces are ready to take to the streets, that bill is withdrawn, only then it will be better.
The Mufti of Aligarh said that the bill through which the society is spoiled, through which disputes arise should be taken back. It should not happen that this dispute turns into a fight and this fight takes a big appearance. The trend is at this time that everyone is ready to take to the streets. If a Muslim is disturbed in this way, the situation may be something else, which is also feared.
Mufti- Hindustan Ganga is a country with Jamuni Tehzeeb. This Tehzeeb is expected to deteriorate with the Waqf Bill. Therefore, I will continue to fight against it till the last moment and under the law, I will also tell my people that you should continue this fight on your behalf. At the time of independence, Muslims took to the streets and liberated the country, in the same way, the streets are being forced to take to the streets.
At the same time, Aamir Rashid, president of Dara Shikoh Foundation, openly supported the Waqf Bill. He said that see the way the Waqf Amendment Bill passed in Parliament, it is bringing a new way for the development of Muslims. Now soon after the President’s recommendation, this bill will become law. After the law is enacted, the path of development of poor Pasmanda Muslims will open. It is clearly written in the bill that from the assets of Waqf, poor Muslim children will get scholarship, widow woman will get pension. Schools, medical colleges will be established. Till now, some people were occupied by some people, the government will use that property taken wrongly and use it for development. Therefore, this step of the government is very welcome and we wholeheartedly welcome Modi ji.
