Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has fulfilled the demand for a wheelchair with a battery of a disabled citizen of the state. CM Sarma has shared a video post on social media platform X on Sunday (August 3, 2025).
In the video post, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Recently, when he met my Divyang friend Abdul, he had applied for a battery wheelchair. How does he not accept his request? Abdul, be happy. Hopefully this facility will bring a big change in your life.”
Abdul demanded from Chief Minister during public meeting
In fact, it can be seen in the video post of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma that CM is meeting a large number of people during a public meeting, meanwhile the Chief Minister spoke to Divyang Abdul Mosa Ali sitting on the ground in the crowd. During this time, CM asked the Divyang person his name, then he told him Abdul Musa Ali. CM asked what you want, then demanded a battery wheelchair of Abdul. The CM asked the officials to write Abdul’s name and mobile and asked Abdul to apply for the battery wheelchair. ”

Divyang Abdul thanked Chief Minister
In the video, Abdul has thanked CM Himant Biswa Sarma after getting a battery wheelchair. He said, “I came to know that Chief Minister Sir is about to visit Kajalgaon, so I went there. I told him that uncle, I want a battery wheelchair. So he said, okay you apply for it.”
He said, “After this I went to DC office and I was immediately made available to battery wheelchair. This wheelchair looks very modern.” Abdul said, “To be honest, I am very happy and grateful. God should do good for them.”
