In Sangam city Prayagraj Mahakumbh, all kinds of hathayogis, seekers and ascetic are engaged in spiritual practice. Here a monk is doing fire practice. His practice is for the welfare of the country, national interest. This practice is done by the seekers of the All India Panch Thirteen Brother Tyagi Khalsa of Digambar Ani Akhara. This special practice is done for 18 years. It will start from Basant Panchami and run for five months.
During this unique practice, the saints do penance by sitting in the circle of burning fire around them. The purpose of this practice is to meditate for the welfare of the country and the nation. This harsh penance is done by sitting in the middle of the fire.

Regarding this special practice, Mahant Gopaldas said that all the saints do for public welfare, country welfare, world welfare. It is 18 years of tenacity, there are six types of courses. First starts with Panchadhwani. Panchdhwani has to be hot for three years. It begins on Panchami of Shukla Paksha of Magh month. This Ganges runs till Dussehra. Austerity is done by chanting mantras in the sun for four months.
This is a very difficult and rare practice, which only a few seekers can do. This tradition has been going on for years and saints who follow it meditate as a witness.
