Nagpur violence update: The violence in Nagpur, Maharashtra has raised questions on security and administration in the state. On Monday (March 17), there was a violent clash between two groups in the Mahal area on the evening. During this time, the miscreants set many vehicles on fire, threw stones at the police and damaged public properties. Many policemen including DCP were injured in stone pelting. Curfew was imposed on the spot and additional police force was deployed. According to the information, the police has detained 40 miscreants in this case.
Asaduddin Owaisi has strongly criticized the Maharashtra government on the violence of Nagpur. Owaisi said that this incident is the result of the failure of the state government. He alleged that for the last few days, efforts were being made to deliberately spoil the atmosphere. He said that a complaint was made to the police about the burning of the Dharma Granth, but the government did not take any action on it. Owaisi believes that this violence has been done intentionally and was the purpose of some special people behind it.
Owaisi’s response to Nagpur violence
Owaisi said that both the Chief Minister and the Union Minister come from Nagpur and after this violence it seems clear that the matter was not taken seriously. He condemned this incident and said that it is very sad, but the conspiracy behind it cannot be denied. Owaisi has hoped to take action from the Maharashtra government and demanded strict action against those responsible for this incident.
