On Wednesday, his body was brought to the ancestral village of Nivjanagar in Narnaul, where the last rites were performed with military honors.

Vipin was the only son of his parents. In April, he was engaged in a village in Dadri. Fiancé and his family also arrived at the funeral. Vipin went on duty from home on 25 April. He had asked to come on leave again in August.

Scooty collided with bike on 15 June Vipin Jangra was posted in Goa. On 15 June, he was going on duty with his partner on Scooty from his room. While going on duty, he collided with the bike. Due to which Vipin and his other partner were injured. He was admitted to Goa for treatment.

Was told the father- I am fine, there is no need to panic After the accident, on 16 June, his father went to Goa Medical College to meet him. During this time he told his father that he was fine. There is nothing to panic, but Vipin died during treatment on 17 June.

The body brought to ancestral village on 18 June When the family and villagers came to know about Vipin’s death, weeds were mourned in the village. The Navy contingent Vipin Jangra’s body reached the ancestral village Nivjanagar on 18 June. Vipin was cremated here with military honors.

Cousin gave fire The jawan was lit by his cousin Vikas Jangra and Dynasty Jangra. People from nearby villages including Nivjanagar came to bid farewell to the jawan. During this time people raised slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Mataram.

Vipin was from army family Vipin Jangra’s father Sushil Jangra was posted in CRPF. After retiring about 10 years ago, they are running a furniture shop in the village. Mother is a housewife. An elder sister is already married.

Admitted to Navy in 2015 Vipin was born in 1997. He was admitted to the Indian Navy in 2015 after completing his studies from village school to 12th. He was serving in the Navy for the last about 10 years. Was posted in the shipping yard in Goa for almost two years. Vipin has also been posted in Chennai and Mumbai earlier.

He said that no officer from the district administration came to the funeral of Vipin. Nor has any officer who has come to meet, whose family is sorry.
