NISAR, the most powerful satellite in human history, will be launched on 30 July 2025 at 5:40 pm. The launch will be from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota. This satellite has been created by Indian space agency ISRO and American Space Agency NASA. This only satellite can give information about any kind of disaster coming all over the world.
This detective, deployed in space, earthquake, landslide, wildfire, rain, cyclonic storm, hurricane, rain, lightning, volcanic bursting, movement of tectonic plates … will keep an eye on everything. It will alert before these natural phenomena occur.

After the launch of NASA-Israo synthetic aperture radar (NISAR), the whole world will first give information about earthquakes. Nisar will be able to record the movement of tectonic plates up to centimeter levels. More or low movement will show where and when earthquake can occur. It will place a round of the earth in 12 days.
What will it look like in satellite space?
Nisar satellite will have a large main bus, which will have many instruments. There will be transponders, telescope and radar systems. An arm will come out of it, on top of which there will be a cylinder. If this cylinder will open a few hours after the launch, then a big umbrella like dish antenna will come out in it. This umbrella is a synthetic aperture radar.

Earth’s new report will be received every 12 days
NISAR application chief Kathleen Jones said that Nisar will make another round in 12 days. Changes that come on the surface of the earth will be known in the gap of so many days. We will be able to find out with accuracy that in which country there is a weather, or what kind of natural disaster is being feared.
Where will it be launched?
This satellite should be launched with GSLV-MK2 rocket. The launch will be from the second launch pad of Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota. Satellites and Pelond have been tested many times.
What will NISAR do?
- This satellite will protect the world from natural disasters. This is the most expensive meaning of the world observations satellite. It has cost Rs 10 thousand crore to make it.
- There is no incident of sinking of a city. It will give alert of many disasters including tornado, storm, volcano, earthquake, melting of glaciers, hurricanes, wild fire, increase in sea levels of seas.
- In Nisar Space, the waste accumulating around the earth and the dangers coming from space towards the earth will also continue to give information.
How will it work?
NISAR will have two types of bands L and S. Both of them will keep an eye on the decreasing number of trees and plants on the earth, as well as study the effect of lack of light and more. The S Band Transmitter has been made by India and the L band transponder was made by NASA.
Earth’s affair in 12 days
The radar of Nisar will be able to take a very clear pictures of the area up to 240 km. It will take a photo of one place of the earth again after 12 days. Because it will take 12 days to make a complete round of the earth. The life of this mission is considered to be 5 years. But it can move forward.
