Sunita williams news: NASA and SpaceX successfully launched a manned mission for the International Space Station (ISS) on Saturday. The mission has been sent to bring back NASA astronaut Sunita Williams and Buch Wilmore, who have been stuck in space since last June.
The Dragon spacecraft flew from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 7:03 pm on Friday evening (4:33 am) via SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. The flight was heavy on 14 March
American space agency NASA shared a post on the social media platform X and wrote, “Spend a good time in space, all of you!” Crew 10 flew from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center on ET (2303 UTC) on Friday, March 14 at 7:03 pm.
SpaceX said, “Falcon 9 launched Crew-10, which is the 14th human space flight mission of the dragon for the space station.” Crew-10 Mission NASA astronaut Anne McClen and Nicole Aeries, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (Jaxa) astronaut Takuya Onishi and Russian space agency Roskosomos’ astronaut Kiril Peskov to ISS.
It will take 28.5 hours to do a dock
It will take about 28.5 hours to autonomize at the international space station, moving towards ISS. After Crew-10 arrives at the orbital laboratory, NASA’s SpaceX Crew-9 mission will return to Earth, including Sunita Williams and Buch Wilmore.
The launch was originally planned on 13 March, but the launch had to be canceled less than an hour in advance due to the problem in the hydraulic system of the ground support clamp arm on the rocket.
Caution will have to be taken even after coming back

Williams and his colleague Buch Wilmore have been stranded at the International Space Station (ISS) since June 2024. In June, both of them rode on the Starelineer of Boeing and went to the ISS under the eight -day mission. However, Starlineer became unsafe for his return due to technical problems.
NASA said Wilmore and Williams are actively engaged in research and maintenance work on ISS along with other astronauts. It is expected that March 20 Williams and his colleague Buch Wilmore will return to the earth.
