Virgo worship method
Navratri is incomplete without Virgo worship. It is believed that worshiping a girl in Navratri gives special grace to the mother and pleasing the mother gives the desired fruit. Worshiping Virgo is necessary because these small girls are said to be the form of Mother Durga. Worshiping them, respecting them is similar to the worship of Mother Durga.
On Ashtami or Mahanavami, one day before the girl worship, the girls should be invited to come home. When the girls come on the day of worship, then first welcome them at home with respect. Then wash their feet. Then sit on a clean seat. Perform their aarti. Apply sandalwood vaccine and tie a rakshasutra in your hand. Then provide them food. Keep in mind that there is no garlic-onion in their food. Feed kheer-puri, gram vegetables etc. in food. Then wash their hands after meals. After that, give donations to the south and gifts and touch their feet. Put the mother shouting and pay obeisance to them.
