Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan will nominate the Vice Presidential election on Wednesday (August 20, 2025) as NDA candidate. His nomination for the Vice Presidential election will be held at 11 am in the Rajya Sabha Secretariat. The Prime Minister will also be named among the proposers of NDA candidate.
A total of four set nominations will be filed by Radhakrishnan. There will be signs of 20 proposer and 20 approved MPs on each set. The Prime Minister will be signed as the first proponent in one set. There will be three such sets and files, which will have signs of Union ministers and NDA members.

All senior ministers including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all the leaders of NDA and MP CP Radhakrishnan will be present during the nomination. The Prime Minister will also be named among the proposers. During the nomination, all MPs and floor leaders of NDA allies will be present.
At the same time, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has been made the election agent, while the entire election process will be done under the supervision of Rajnath Singh. At the same time, Vinod Tawde has been entrusted with the responsibility of preparations. All the NDA allies have already announced to support CP Radhakrishnan in the election.
Last date of nomination till this date
Please tell that after the resignation of Jagdeep Dhankhar, the Vice President is being elected. There will be nomination for this election by August 21. At the same time, votes will be cast for this election on 9 September and the result of the election will come only on September 9. In this election, India alliance has given B.K. Sudarshan Reddy has been made his candidate, who will enroll on 21 August.
