Bihar has assembly elections and the exercise regarding seat sharing in NDA has intensified. It is believed that the formula of seat sharing in the ruling alliance has almost agreed and it will be on the basis of the formula adopted in the Lok Sabha elections.
According to sources, the ticket will be distributed between the NDA in the Bihar assembly elections as per the formula for the Lok Sabha elections. In the Lok Sabha elections, BJP contested 17, JDU 16, LJP 5 and Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hum and Upendra Kushwaha’s National Lok Morcha contested one seat each.
In the Lok Sabha elections, BJP contested one seat more than JDU, but in the assembly, JDU can contest from BJP in one or two seats.
Bihar has a total of 243 assembly seats. According to sources, JDU can contest 102 to 103 and BJP 101 to 102 seats. The remaining 40 seats will be given to Lok Janshakti Party, Hindustan Awam Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha.
How many seats can LJP get …
LJP will also have a large part of the seat sharing, as it has five MPs. In this sense, he can get about 25-28 seats. Whereas Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha can be given 6-7 seats and 4-5 seats to Upendra Kushwaha’s National Lok Morcha.
It is clear from the formula of this seat sharing of NDA that in the alliance, there is a preparation to give a balance to small parties along with large parties. However, the final announcement regarding seat sharing will be made after the formal meeting of NDA leaders.
