What is Neeraj Chopra Classic?
Neeraj Chopra is a classic one -day Continental Tour meeting, which has received gold status from World Athletics. This is the first track and field meeting to be held in India. In addition to the world and Continental Championships and Diamond League meetings worldwide, there is a series of Continental Tour events, which are divided into several categories such as A (Gold), B (Silver), C (Bronze) and Challenger events.
With gold status, Neeraj Chopra is considered to be the biggest event after the Classic Diamond League. Recently the Ostrava Golden Spike in the Czech Republic, where Neeraj won.
